As most of you already know, this winter in the west was an all-out FAIL. Most resorts in Colorado failed to hit 200", and powder days were few and far between. I typically get 30-35 days in per season (with over half of those being powder days), but this year I got on the snow SEVEN times. Yes, seven.
Luckily, three of those days were pretty sweet pow days, so I was able to get some decent shots of my friends. Here's what I captured from the worst winter in 30 years. On the flip side, the mountain biking in the Front Range has been really good for the last three months!
Back in January, we hit an 18" day at Beaver Creek:
Then in February, we made the three hour drive to Steamboat for 50" in three days:
And finally, on 2/29 (my last day of the season), Jay and I got to Monarch with 13" overnight:
What will next season bring? Hopefully a lot more snow.
