I'm pretty sure 9 is still open. At least that's what their website says....not that they have a lot open off the top.

For this upcoming weekend they will have only 8 open. I went to Breck on 420. The snow was good. The coverage was scary at times. I went over to the T-bar and dropped off before getting there. I went down a run. In my 7 summit seasons, I witnessed the worst skinny trail of death ever. At some places it was only about 2 feet wide. It was all moguls. I think I may of missed a closed sign, why was that open?

The previous week I was riding peak 9. It was pretty shocking. I went down a run and there was a long narrow bare spot that went all the way across the run. Mandatory ollie. Never encountered a bare spot like that before.

I went to A-basin on Sunday and Monday. The coverage there is not so bad. It's like late May right now at the Basin. Lake Reveal has not melted into a pond yet. There were no lift lines. It was not terrible. There were lots of small ponds. I took my boots 3 days to dry.

Loveland is closing Sunday. They were scheduled to close May 5th.

It's gonna be a short mud season.

When that LL security guard was harassing us he said LL was closing May 5th no matter what. It was in their charter and they'd have to stay open. Need to know I guess.

It's not worth the drive from your new place, trust me. It's probably the same amount of time to get to Loveland for you now.

Loveland is only 10mins more than the old place, and Eldora is 8mins more according to Google. All those traffic lights on Thornton Pkwy really wreck timing.
