  What is a GOLD CARD?Gold Cards are a product of the North Carolina Ski Areas Association (NCSAA) and allow the purchaser to ski at all participating North Carolina Ski Areas. The areas are: Appalachian Ski Mtn Cataloochee Ski Area Hawksnest Golf & Ski Resort Sapphire Valley Ski Area Ski Beech Sugar Mountain Resort Wolf Laurel There are no "blackout" dates for the Gold Card. The purchaser may ski at any resort during any session regardless of holiday / weekend rates. Previous Gold Card holders have the opportunity each summer during the month of July to purchase a Gold Card for the upcoming ski season before they go on sale to the general public on August 1st.
